So basically I just redesigned the home page. It's like old paper (or I was told it looks like a big sticky note). I was going for a more suitable look. The hand drawn feel works better than it was before.
This is a vast improvement over the original. The aesthetic not only carries a more 90s vibe, but also a more middle/high schooler theme, which ties into the show that this site has re-appropriated the aesthetic :)
